[NIGHT]

This sounds SCARILY like a Boards Of Canada track. If you told me this was an unused track for The Campfire Headphase or was from Trans Canada Highway, I would believe you.
I wish this was more fleshed out to be a 4-5 minute song with a bit more variety, would be way more enjoyable.

i love boads of canada. but i don't agree that this sounds like their style. i have more of a upbeat style and they have such amazing ambient sound to their music. but i really apricate the kind words

had a feeling when i first heard this track "it sounds a bit like shoegaze with all the distortion on the drums" and what do you know, it's in the tags. wish this was longer/fleshed out

Yeah I agree, at the time of making it I was trying to add some stuff to make it longer and add that structure but nothing really clicked with me

Personally I find trance as a genre to be not all that diverse, just get some ambient synths and a piana riff then throw in some drum loops and you're done. But when it hits, oh boy.
This track hits that mark perfectly <3
